Mrs Jenni Haukio is The First Lady of the Republic of Finland and the
director of Turku International Book Fair
Anne-Kathrin Häfner studied German and French literature. She has been
working with the Frankfurt Book Fair since 1996, currently as a senior sales
manager for Northern and Western Europe. She is in charge of the Frankfurt
exhibitors and professional visitors coming from the Nordic countries, the
Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Owen Witesman is a professional literary translator with a master’s degree
in Finnish and Estonian, and a founding member of the Finnish-English
Literary Translation Cooperative (FELT). He lives in Utah.
Merja Aho Coordinator for Translator Programme (FILI). Master of Culture
and Arts, studied at University of Applied Sciences Humak, and Estonian
Culture and Literature at the University of Helsinki. She translates from
Estonian language into Finnish.
Johanna Pitkänen Grants Manager (FILI). M. A., studied Russian
Translation and Interpreting and Finnish Literature at the University of
Tampere and Finnish Language at the University of Helsinki.
